• Cellular Jail: The most famous tourist attraction of Andaman is undoubtedly the Cellular Jail or the “Kaala Pani Jail” as it is famously known. The jail was constructed by the British Imperialists to house political prisoners. The prison housed people of immense importance like Veer Savarkar, Batukeshwar Dutta, and the like. Post-Independence, the jail is converted into National Memorial Monument.
